General Info

VAT Group AG, together with its subsidiaries, develops, manufactures, and supplies vacuum valves in Switzerland, rest of Europe, the United States, Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, rest of Asia, and internationally. The company operates through three segments: Valves, Global Service, and Industry. The Valves segment offers vacuum valves for the semiconductor, displays, photovoltaics, and vacuum coating industries, as well as for the industrial and research sectors. The Global Service segment provides spare parts, repairs, and upgrades, as well as support services. The Industry segment produces edge-welded bellows for use in vacuum feedthrough, semiconductor, implantable pump, sealing, and motor vehicle fuel injection system applications; and offers machined parts, mechanical components, and assemblies. VAT Group AG was founded in 1965 is headquartered in Sennwald, Switzerland.

Current Ratio


 

Current Ratio measures the ability to meet short term obligations. Generally accepted standard is 2 (current assets should be 2 times or 200% of current liabilities).

Quick Ratio


 

Measures immediate liquidity or the cash available to cover immediate liabilities. A safe margin would be at least 1 (100%).

Financial Leverage


 

Defined as total assets divided by total shareholders' equity. The higher the ratio, the more debt a company uses in its capital structure.
