Please, check out S2O Stock Screener:
http://www.stock2own.com/StockScreener/

Currently it does not allow you to sort by graham number for example, BUT it does allow you to search for a stock across all available securities using several fundamental and technical filters.

For instance, it allows you to view ALL stocks where current market price is above or below value price; or stocks where Growth Grade is A or better and no debt and price is below book value per share... I think you may find it useful.

Ah interesting, I was very surprised the website didn't have a stock

Ah interesting, I was very surprised the website didn't have a stock screener.

However, at this point it is almost useless. You guys need more filters! By graham number, by price, by market, by P/E etc... like any good screener. Even look at the crappy one Yahoo finance offers, it's actually got some decent functions. But if you improved your stock screener you'd have millions of hits on this site, I guarantee it. It is already so useful...

Stock Screener Filters

Stock Screener Filters
Thank you for the advice! Working on it :-)
Meanwhile, could you please be more specific what do you mean by "filter by graham number"?

I agree with you - I think it is useless to get a list of stocks where Graham Number is between $10 and $20, for example. I would not know what to do with it... Does anyone found it useful? Therefore I do not think this is what you meant by saying "filter by Graham Number".

That is why in S2O Stock Screener you can set a filter that will show you all stocks where current market price is below value price, for example. Not just a range, but a simple filter that does comparison for you. Isn't it what we are looking for? Just take a look to the Stock Screener filter, values in a drop down box for "Price".

I know, there is no filter by Graham Number - it is a fairly new valuation for stock2own and we did not want to rush to include it there. Working on it. And I'm still working on a video for screener... Besides that, could you please explain what filter you think is missing and HOW you want to use it?

I would really like to start this discussion and if anyone has an idea, please, do not hesitate to through it here. Currently I'm working on "advanced filters" and would be happy to add few more features...

Ha sorry to make you stress out about the graham number. I was just including it as an example of adding filters to the screener. To be honest i don't even know what it does. The filters that are useful to me:

-stock price - Be able to include a price range, say include all between 1.50-10 etc
- sort by P/E ratio
- Specify stock price range above or below book value
- All "buy/sell" recommendations by filter using the S20 metrics
- MOS / value price sorting hi to low
- above / below 50 day moving averages (is that already in there?)

If I think of anything else I'll post it. Thanks for your great work! The color coding and explanations are really great, this site is very helpful. keep it up.

I did think of another idea that could help you sell memberships -

I did think of another idea that could help you sell memberships - your "top stocks" page is not very informative, I mean I think most people know AAPL etc are hot stocks

However if we had access to a dynamic "top 50 list" with several preset screens, I think that could be very valuable to see all the top performers in one place. For example
- top 50 best "deal stocks" i.e., the lowest stock price compared to book value
- conversely, "worst deal stocks" for those playing shorts
- best P/E ratios, filtered above 1 so that shady and OTC stocks are not included
- top 50 daily performers
- top 50 highest volume

then you could filter these by day, week, month and year so that people can see everything at a glance without having to define their own filters.

I have a lot of other ideas, maybe if I had a free stock screener subscription I could help you develop these even more :)

Hats off to Alex for this software! I wish we could sort by column headers or export the watch list to Excel to sort?

Re: I wish we could sort by column headers

Now you can :-) I just deployed a new version of stock2own.com which supports Watch List sorting - just click on a column header. Sort multiple columns simultaneously by holding down the shift key and clicking a second, third or even fourth column header!

As for the export to excel - it is still not there, but there is a really easy work around - simply select the whole Watch List table, click Ctrl+C and paste it to your excel - excel is smart enough to paste each cell separately.
