Re: Where can Industry and Sector Analyses be found?

In the current implementation sector and industry analysis is done using SPDR ETFs. Select Sector SPDRs are unique ETFs that divide the S&P 500 into nine sector index funds. Select Sector SPDRs have the diversification of a mutual fund, the focus of a sector fund, and the tradability of a stock. You can buy or sell Select Sector SPDR shares, but most importantly we can use them for sector performance tracking.

There are several places on the stock2own where you can see this info:
- in the Stock Analyzer page - right under the individual stock price you can find S&P 500 chart as well as a corresponding SPDR chart (available for US stocks only)
- in the "Market Gauges" section (http://www.stock2own.com/StockMarket/Gauges/SPDR-Sectors) you can see all sector charts on one page, so this is easier to find which sectors are moving up and which ones are moving down. By the way, there are also Advance-Decline charts available there...
