Theory
In this section we'll try to collect all used terminology, put together definitions you can find on the stock2own.com, add
articles about economics and economic theory. There are 2 major sections so far:
A definition is a statement of the
meaning of a term, word or phrase. Hopefuly, we did not miss anything that we use.
In mathematics, computing, linguistics,
economics and related disciplines, an algorithm is a finite list of well-defined instructions
for accomplishing some task that, given an initial state, will terminate in a defined end-state.
The concept of an algorithm originated as a means of recording procedures for solving
mathematical problems.
In this section we are trying to collect algorithms that have been used or could
be used to analyze company's financials.
There are bunch of different indicators or charts available, however, we focus only on those, that recommended by
Phil Town in his book "Rule#1". Phil Town calls it "The Three Tools".
If you have a question about specific definition or algorithm, have a suggestion or want to add
a new item in this section, please, let us know.
