About Watch List
General Info
Watch List allows you to keep all your stocks (currently own or potential targets) in one place, monitor
their prices and make a quick comparison. Financial and hostorical score is available for each stock. You can
flag and tag your stocks, you can add comments.
To better organize all your symbols you can group them into multiple Watch Lists. You can put the same symbol
into several Watch Lists, add there different notes and set MOS price differently for each instance.
Watch List is available to registered users only.
In general, you Watch List looks like this:
- You can easily add or remove new symbol in or from your Watch List by typing symbol and clicking corresponding
button in the top section of the screen.
- You can sort your Watch List items ascending and descending by clicking the corresponding column header.
- For each row in your Watch List, you can see detail information, including all analytics you can find in the
Stock Analyzer section PLUS you can set your own Sticker and MOS Price,
you can flag the stock and you can add your own comments, such as reminders, research notes and so on.
- You can include Financial or Historical Score in each row of your Watch List.
- You can set filter and work only with filtered list.
- For each symbol in your Watch List you will be able to see current market price (or latest available price). Please,
be aware of possible delays.
Symbol Details
For each symbol in your Watch List you can see very detail information, including all analytics you can find in the
Stock Analyzer section. PLUS you can add tags and set your own Sticker and MOS Price,
you can flag the stock and you can add your own comments, such as reminders, research notes and so on.
Just click the Edit icon at the left column and do your research for the symbol.
For your convenience, you can see the notes you put for the symbol right in the Watch List. If you move the
mouse pointer to the Company Name link, you should be able to see tool tip screen with your notes.
Symbol Scores
There are 2 different types of Symbol Score:
- Financial Score - it shows symbol characteristics the same way as Stock Analyzer does. Basically, this
is "Result" column values from the "Growth Rates" table in the Stock Analyzer
section. It is suppose to give you a quick, but precise picture of the company's finances.
- Historical Score - it shows cumulative characteristics of all financial parameters (Equity, EPS...)
historically. This is exactly the same as very bottom line in the "Growth Rates" table in the
Stock Analyzer section.
If you want to switch between scores, you can do it by selecting appropriate radio box in the "Show Score" gadget
in the left column of the page. Please, be aware that in order to save space we made this gadget collapsable.
Please, be aware that you can even sort by score! Equity has highest weight and ROIC has lowest
weight in Financial Score. In Historical Score most recent year has highest priority.
Market Price
For each symbol in your Watch List you will be able to see current market price (or latest available price).
Please, be aware that market price delayed. Move your mouse pointer to the market price value and
you will see tool tip window with detail information about date and time of the provided price.
Technical Indicators
The Three Tools ot Technical Indicators - Moving Average, Stochastics and MACD - are available for each
symbol in your Watch List. All parameters are predefined based on Phil Town's recommendations. Read more
